My Learnings

  • Cross-functional Alignment: When making a product decision or prioritizing a feature, it is wise to align with designers and engineers and explain the reasoning behind it.

  • Leadership Skills: a great startup leader motivates the team to build what they believe in. A great leader also knows everyone’s strengths and allocates tasks accordingly.

  • Constraint Management: It is normal to face time, budget, and talent constraints for early-stage start-ups. Identifying these constraints early and making feature prioritization is crucial for product development.
